This Refund Policy explains our practices regarding refunds for donations and other payments made through the Site. 1. General Refund Policy All monetary contributions made through the Site are voluntary political donations and are generally non-refundable. This is consistent with Ohio campaign finance laws and federal election regulations, which treat contributions as irrevocable gifts to support the campaign.

 

2. Exceptions Refunds may be issued at the Campaign’s sole discretion in limited circumstances, including:

• Duplicate or erroneous charges (e.g., you were charged twice for the same donation)

• Unauthorized use of a payment method

• Clear billing errors identified and verified by our payment processor

• Any other case where we determine a refund is appropriate under applicable law

We do not issue refunds simply because a donor has changed their mind after contributing.

 

3. How to Request a Refund To request a refund, please contact us within 30 days of the donation date with the following information:

• Your full name

• Email address used for the donation

• Date and amount of the donation

• Reason for the refund request

• Transaction or receipt number (if available)

4. Processing Refunds Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 10–14 business days. All refunds are subject to the policies of our third-party payment processors (such as ActBlue or similar compliant services).

 

5. No Refunds for Goods or Services Because all payments on this Site are treated as political contributions, there are no goods or services provided in exchange for donations. Therefore, standard consumer refund rights do not apply.

 

6. Changes to This Refund Policy We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
